I would chalk that up to tongue in cheek. I doubt it was meant to be taken seriously. I wouldn't have posted it myself, but I'd have chuckled at it.

For real, I know we saw in that "Art of the Surge" documentary that there are usually a few people around him when he tweets. But, does anyone have the swat to say "hey, maybe don't do that"? I feel like Jr. and JD were the only hopes to get through to him on things like this. Jr. has been quiet lately -- he should be undermining his brother-in-law.

I'll be honest, I have no idea who is pulling the strings behind the curtain (I don't think it is as simple as saying Netanyahu), but it isn't the people we voted for.

You're kidding, right? He has made election integrity such an issue that right now there sits a bill in the Senate that, if passed, would destroy the DNC for the foreseeable future. The GOP refuses to pass it.
Like I said, he does not give a frick at this point and it's obvious. Nor should he. Our system is broken. The rot in DC is so thorough that it is going to take extreme measures to clean it out. We aren't fixing it at the voting booth.

If you want a perfect example of "the cult" this situation is pretty good.
Christians legitimately pointing out actual blasphemy are being criticized with the usual cult language to put them in the out group, while the cult is claiming this is "trolling"....yet none of the in group can explain how this is trolling or who is being trolled.
Yeah, trolling sincere Christian Trump supporters with nonsense owns the libs. That's makes sense.

It's interesting to me, though, that this tweet finally seems to have put a few people here over the edge.
I was pretty appalled at cheering on Reiner's murder. The Easter tweet and then threatening to kill 90 million people two days later was enough for me.
