Again, whatever becomes of this latest round of diplomatic negotiations, Zelensky is a leashed and obedient house dog. He will do exactly as he is told by his Masters.

If Putin has gained them, why would we have to cede them? The only change from where they are now would be to take them away from him.

I read in another post where somebody thought Russia won't quit until they control all of Ukraine's coast. I've thought about how easily the Ukraine impacted and curtailed Russian control of the Black Sea and I think he's right.

We are currently still occupying Japan and Germany because those were our gains.

If we had an armed conflict with Russia, and they ended up controlling Alaska, I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be getting it back.

Interesting example. Look at the administration of Berlin before the wall came down and the Soviet Union fell. There were four sectors of Berlin, each controlled by one of the four powers. It isn't that way today. There is no longer an "American sector."
