Not entirely. Not unless you are putting real estate speculation under "infrastructure."
I donno. Think of the trillions we've wasted on the "war on poverty" and Social security, I'm not sure we're any better.

It's nowhere near communist....but fascists were socialists, so we are on our way with former free market capitalist types cheering it on......because of the perception of "winning"

Price controls against communist China--our nation's most formidable enemy--that help America and Americans? You damn right I am.

Trump has not more ability to decide the value of something than Mao or Stalin did.

What the Trump boys don't seem to get is that they will be hung by the very ideas their reactionary populism is promoting.

Imagine the next Dem decides the floor for a firearm is 20K and so now every gun is going to cost 20K. You can't dictate value, even in the name of fighting Marxist states like China.

Setting the floor is dictating value. I wish MAGA was actually a real conservative free market movement over this dumb half backed economics tariffs and now price floors. They'd be a lot more popular and the economy would be doing a lot better.

I'm sorry if I've stayed true to conservative principles while so many who claim to be sell out.....like yourself.
I want free markets and less intrusive government. You seem to like more government and social democracy like economics.....because you think that's " winning"

It’s because corporations exploited cheap labor…. That’s what killed the middle class.

I can never tell if these responses are a sincere whiff or a defense mechanism.

For sure, but they are in the middle of a short term crisis over their real estate spending.

Who knows how long we can continue to kick our debt can down the road before it collapses?

SS is paid for by taxes and the low ROI "Trust Fund" has been a blue-light special for government borrowing typically at rates below the rate of inflation. Now that's a racket.

I’d say trumps stupid trade war is to blame.
