31 of 50 = 62%. That is nowhere near a "vast majority"

When a "majority" of 50 is 26, 5 over is nowhere close to a "vast" majority.

Why? What was in his bill? Infrastructure or something else? Plus the economy wasn’t dog shite back the. If Trump did a $1 spending bill for infrastructure but it was only graft to one group he would have been killed.

We definitely need to address roads and bridges in the country as well as other infrastructure. This bill doesn’t do that and that’s the issue.

50 minus (that means 'take away') 13 = 37.
37 out of 50 = 74%

It's such a dangerous take on the whole thing, because you're confirming to the media that if they bitch enough they can impact an election. That's not to say Trump didn't sometimes make it easier for them, because he did. But those of us who aren't 20 have seen how they treat every single GOP president, and they're not going to back off just because it's (hypothetically) DeSantis instead of Trump.

You now got it wrong twice.

19 SENATORS (38% of Republican Senators) voted for it.

13 REPRESENTATIVES (6.1% of Republican House Members) voted for it.

This is my quote you refuted:

quote:

The vast majority of GOP voted NO

By your own statistics in your last post:

quote:

19 SENATORS (38% of Republican Senators) voted for it. 13 REPRESENTATIVES (6.1% of Republican House Members) voted for it.

That means about 80% of republicans voted against it. That's a vast majority I did not specify House v Senate. You did. I was emphasizing the rarity of the rhetoric. I doubt that you understand. But have a nice day.
