I have said this before, we should have never set foot in that country. The British Empire, The Red Army and others could not win there.
As soon as we knew where Osama was holed up after 9 11, we should have launched tactical nuclear strikes against the terrorist camps, Tora Bora and yes the GD Poppy Fields. No one would have dared said a word and we would have been justified to do so.
This, and some assassinations and a few Tomahawks through some windows that had it coming, would have sent a message that the gloves are off, you went way too far, and if you ever do it again we will kill you all.
There would be a lot of Americans alive and unhurt today that are not, a lot of things that have happened in the ME would not have, and we would have been a hell of a lot better off.
