Trump vs. Bernie in debates could be interesting

Bernie is one of those people that is like a cartoon character and has a certain static image. Given that Bernie is widely viewed to be "likeable" and "genuine," the playbook is different IMO than handling Clinton with just contempt and disdain (plus linking her with Obama).
Trump is thus likely to try to brand him as Crazy Bernie and probably make a laughable character, and also hammer on Castro as much as possible. I'm not sure how effective that will be.
The other issue is that obviously Trump is naturally on the defensive rather than the attack given that he is the incumbent. And Bernie is extremely well-versed on his soundbite numbers.
From a political theater viewpoint, I'm pretty pumped to see how this shakes out if Bernie is the nominee.

I'm with you and think he's a bitter, incredibly arrogant piece of shite sowing division in our society. I do think he's sincere relative to other politicians which resonates with a lot of people.

Bernie couldn't handle getting booed at the debate last night Trump will make his head explode during a debate. I'm concerned Bernie might have a stroke on stage with Trump laughing at him.

It’ll likely be the other way around. Bernie is much smarter than Trump and isn’t afraid to tell Trump how much he sucks to his face. I am not left leaning by any stretch, but since Trump is doing such a terrible job, I’d at least consider voting for the Bern.
ETA: In the end, he might just be too progressive to me, so I probably won’t.

I'm still just astounded at the amount of support for a radical socialist in this country. Just ten short years ago Democrats would have laughed a candidate like this out of the picture. He wouldn't have even got near ten percent of Democratic votes.
