Trumps biggest need is to make a dent in white women voters (rural), and to cement gains in the Hispanic & Black voter base.

1. Lee Zeldin (best option imo)
Trump voiced a desire to make New York competitive. This may seem like a longshot politically, but Zeldin is widely popular (even among blacks/hispanics) and came close to becoming governor last election. Zeldin is “not too charismatic” (Trump will not pick a charismatic male) but has demonstrated a strong grassroot campaign ability. (Not to mention he balances out the ticket)

- Biggest Question is whether he can drum up support in states like Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Michigan etc.

Safest pick
2. Kristie Noem
- Relatively unknown, but her extra curricular activities may hurt image. She will go a long way to cure the fears of white rural women voters.

3. Tulsi Gabbard (Unity ticket)
If Trump wants to play a “unite the country” role, she’s the best option. Doesn’t hurt that she checks off diversity boxes (for those that care) and she’s relatively flexible on policy. Question is, can she be counted on to advocate for conservative ideas? (Open tent party??)

4.Tim Scott
This arguably hurts the ticket. Tim is not an effective debater, but if Trump needs a “punching bag” Tim is the best option. He’s the epitome of a yes man, but does not add anything of value to the ticket.

Trump will never pick Ramaswamy unfortunately. He will not share the spotlight with a charismatic male figure..

I'm not an R, so will get hate, but I would love to see him pick Tulsi.

Don't agree with all her policies, but shes damn strong and would bitch slap Kamala.

I am a strong proponent of Wesley Hunt.

I like Kristi Noem as well.

Not a big fan of Tim Scott. Tulsi on the ticket is interesting to me.

Sanders would not accept.
If Trump did not WIN for any reason, she would be forever be tied to Trump legacy.

But she will be a front contender for POTUS 2028

VP is not going to get anyone over the hump, therefore he needs the best qualified. This would be the list:

Vivek
Carson
Paul

Meh, with independents for Trump it might. A good female 2nd may help solidify the trend of suburban women to him.

I’m down with RAND PAUL.

He is like a Pitbull dog with raw meat in his mouth when he has an issue.
He won’t let go.

I hope that it's -

#1 - Sarah Huckabee Sanders
or
#2 - Byron Donalds

But, I would not be surprised if he selects Elise
Stefanik or Lee Zeldin.

Lord have mercy, I hope it's not Gabbard ..

I’d pick Youngkin.

Swing state.

More from the middle, but it doesn’t matter for policy because he’s a figurehead.

Solid conservative leadership behind him in VA so there isn’t a big hole left.

If not him, let’s play identity politics. John James from Michigan.

Never too early for the establishment to try and select the VP, even if they failed to select the primary winner.

That or they have to win in a landslide where Byron doesn’t need Florida’s EV’s to be elected VP
