Republican Sen. Bob Corker stands by his criticism of Trump and White House as an 'adult day care center' Corker running his mouth this morning on GMA

He's hoping to be the Dems/MSM's favorite Republican since McCain is addled with brain cancer.

President O give us the bad Iran Deal & couldn't get elected dog catcher in Tennessee,

It appears the Obama administration policy towards enemies like North Korea and Iran was simply stated - give them what they want.....that'll shut them up.

So in the very near future (if not already) NK and Iran will have the capability to drop a nuke tipped ICBM right smack dab in the middle of Times Square.

Why is Corker not running for reelection?

When he first ran for office he pledged to only serve two terms. Hard to blame a mid 60s multi-millionaire for retiring

What did he accomplish in his two terms?

Yep. I love how senators and representatives think their bully pulpits have as much leverage as the president's.

Mr. Corker, your state elected you. The country elected Trump. You seem to be forgetting that little nugget.

This article explains in detail how Corker paved the way for the Iran deal via the INARA bill.

So that explains the how. But why? What benefit did Corker and the others who supported the INARA think that the U.S. was getting from the Iran deal?

Under the Constitution’s procedure, Obama would have needed simple majorities in both chambers (which translates to 60 votes in the Senate under its parliamentary rules) to lift the sanctions permanently. He would never have been able to achieve this. But again, Corker rode to his rescue: Under the INARA, Congress endorsed the lifting of sanctions on the condition that no “resolution of disapproval” was enacted. Under that hocus-pocus, the president no longer needed to persuade a simple majority of both houses to repeal the sanctions; instead, opponents of the deal needed supermajorities to preserve them (i.e., the two-thirds margins needed to override Obama’s certain veto). The opponents’ failure was guaranteed.

This article explains in detail how Corker paved the way for the Iran deal via the INARA bill.

Now imagine how much we could accomplish if we had a POTUS and leaders in Congress smart enough to navigate parliamentary procedures to actually pass any legislation. We might actually be able to repeal Obamacare, get true tax reform, and any other legislation that we could only dream of. Too bad all Trump knows how to do is tweet.

While you're right that the NK situation should have been nipped in the bud long ago, at what point does the current administration bear any responsibility for preventing it from going any further? It seems that a lot of people on both sides want to blame the previous administration anytime their side is in power but say the buck stops with the current guy anytime the opposition is in power. Hell, Iraq and Afghanistan became Obama's baby the day he was sworn into office but now every problem that exists is still Obama's fault.

So, not epic. Not Epic. Not even EPIC. But EPIC. Got it.

Corker is not epically butthurt. Not Epically butthurt. Not even EPICALLY butthurt. He's an EPICALLY butthurt little sad man. Good riddance for our state. If he'd just hurry it on up a bit.
