Who says there are any troops going in? You realize that we do this often (put Marines on ships stationed near conflict areas) and more often than not those boots never go on the ground?

We are moving troops that protect the Japan and South Korean bases. It doesn’t make sense if the war is ending to move them to iran

Destroying the Damavand plant would indirectly lead to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Tehran citizens.

This is standard operating procedure. This is done pretty much any time there is a conflict anywhere. It, in no way, means that those troops are certainly going in anywhere. It's just how the military operates.
