Trump surrounded by enemies much like another King of old.

I read this and it seemed very prescient in light of Trump and the deep state. I know this will trigger many. I make no apologies.
Psalm 140
Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men;
preserve me from violent men,
2 who plan evil things in their heart
and stir up wars continually.
3 They make their tongue sharp as a serpent's,
and under their lips is the venom of asps.
4 Guard me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked;
preserve me from violent men,
who have planned to trip up my feet.
5 The arrogant have hidden a trap for me,
and with cords they have spread a net;
beside the way they have set snares for me.
6 I say to the Lord, You are my God;
give ear to the voice of my pleas for mercy, O Lord!
7 O Lord, my Lord, the strength of my salvation,
you have covered my head in the day of battle.
8 Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked;
do not further their[b] evil plot, or they will be exalted!
9 As for the head of those who surround me,
let the mischief of their lips overwhelm them!
10 Let burning coals fall upon them!
Let them be cast into fire,
into miry pits, no more to rise!
11 Let not the slanderer be established in the land;
let evil hunt down the violent man speedily!
12 I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted,
and will execute justice for the needy.
13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks to your name;
the upright shall dwell in your presence.

He has to be referring to either MacBethad mac Findláich (or MacBeth) or Rudolf II.

He should act in the same way King Edward I of England did.

Yes, when the Llyweln ap Gruffydd refuses to pay homage to Trump, he should suppress Wales and bend it to the English will!

David, I figured the title Psalm 140 gave it away.

Be very careful when using Scripture to validate a man.
Trump is no King David.
King David was a man after God's own heart.
While Trump is a great American, he isn't a great man of faith, and he certainly isn't righteous. He's a good man who does what he believes is right, but ultimately he measures his success in dollars and cents.

Now do Saul of Tarsus.

Is it one of the two Corinthians that trump referred to?

Let's revisit this when he has a Paul like conversion

David murdered his mistresses husband. I get what your saying but be careful thinking any of us are righteous from our behavior.

It's not a direct comparison to the Messiah like last week, so it's an improvement.

If you believe in Scripture, you believe it was inspired. If it was inspired, God thought enough of David to allow him to write some of it. Same with Saul of Tarsus.
You'll never see the Gospel of Trump, or anybody else for that matter.

Maybe after the election we can acknowledge he's just a good man doing a good job.
