Saying there are plenty of good liberals and conservatives is one thing
Saying there are plenty of "good people" who are white nationalists is something else. And to be clear I would say the same if a Democrat POTUS said there were "very fine people" in Antifa.

funny bc i just had a convo friday night with some liberal friends IRL about this & specifically how i think it's counterproductive to talk & think about Trump as if he is a Bond villain.

I actually agree with this. Media, in general, is biased in one form or another. It's all a balancing act. The further left CNN, NBC< and ABC go, the further right FOX goes. I would say there are a few balanced podcasts out there. Ben Shapiro comes to mind, despite what liberal media outlets would have you believe. I can't think of any on the left.
As far as the attacks go, I do have to disagree with you there. These type of attacks, politically driven, do tend to come from the left far more than they do the right. It's also never a middle of the road liberal. It's always the alt-left angry cry babies who eventually formed ANTIFA. Funny thing is, the fold like paper when stood up to. They attack the trump supporters who appear to be weak. One of them is going to end up shot one day.

Trump supporters should recognize that progressives are extremely angry and triggered about the 2016 election.
Their level of tolerance for anything that challenges their world view is even lower than normal. If you are supporting Trump in the open, you should expect progressives to act irrationally around you.

No word on who the victim is, so hard to tell for now. What's interesting is that none of the local news stations I've checked are reporting this story. Most do tend left.
