I'll be disappointed if they establish it anywhere but the San Francisco Bay area. They've already gone down the Starfleet symbolism road. They should ride it all the way through.

It's not going in Louisiana you silly coonasses.
I'd say Huntsville has the edge over Colorado Springs simply because of US Space Command, UAH, and Colorado Springs already having the Air Force Academy.
It could also go to another location entirely, but it damn sure won't be San Francisco.

Hey man, I'd love it for the lore alone, but keep in mind when Roddenberry wrote that in to the Star Trek universe, California wasn't the bat shite crazy left wing shite hole it is now.
