You are right but Trump can do multiple things at once which is what he is doing. He doesn't just focus on one task at a time. He has to work like this to keep the globalists, deep state, media and democrats running around like a chicken with its head cut off - this is why he is doing 100 different things at once.

As far as I can tell his descent into full retardation, a common side effect of fully complete sudden onset TDS, was his full devotion to the ronbot cause and that destroyed his soul. Still hasn’t made any recovery sadly and it’s likely terminal

The little guy has been taking the dick for a long time.
Just look at Covid for instance - Big businesses were allowed to stay open while little mom and pop stores were forced to shut down all over the country.

from what i've read it looks like it started in the late 70s in response to blackouts in previous years. based on this article, at least initially it saved the us money. no idea if that's still the case today.
