I don’t hate Israel but I don’t like the over the top arse kissing we do to them nor the billions we spend on them.
They are a good ally for intelligence in a hostile Middle East. I’m ok with having their back when they are attacked just like any other ally of ours. I’m think what we are doing in Iran is in Americas best interest not just Israel.
All that said, we shouldn’t trust Israel and we shouldn’t do things at their behest that are not also in Americans best interests. And there is no reason to kiss their arse. We don’t kiss Europe’s arse, or Canada’s, or any other ally. Israel should be treated like them. Be nice when we should be nice, be not nice when they go against our national interests
