Herschel will be no different than any other conservative blacks. Blacks whose entire identity is wrapped up in being victims will be never vote for him because he doesn't play that shite. They will, and it will be despicable. HW has been very open about having dissociative identity disorder (formerly multiple personality disorder), and I believe they will use this in an attempt to destroy his credibility.
He's dedicated his time to speaking to our military and telling his story to show them that there is nothing wrong with strong men admitting they are having mental health concerns and no shame in seeking help for it. He came to the Marine Corps base in SC where we were stationed and spoke. He seemed like an amazing guy from what I experienced.
He sat right next to me and my boys while they were introducing him. He sat and talked to my kids and saw they had UGA gear and asked if he could sign it for them. He talked football and school with my kids and then apologized when he had to excuse himself to go give his speech. He was the nicest guy. When he was done talking, he came right back to my kids and finished their conversation. He made them feel like there was nobody else in that auditorium.
It's going to piss me off to see the shite they try and sling on this man.
