The horror - people who voted for Trump being honest about his performance!

Offer the federal portion of school money directly to families since they won't be used by schools.

Watch heads explode...

If he can, exactly this. I don’t know what all tools he has at his disposal. I don’t want the president dictating from on high, and no limited government person should. But if there are handouts (that probably don’t need to exist anyway) that he can withdraw, I’m all for that.

So you're just yapping. There isn't anything he can do to keep california from going back to phase one.

On a non-tangible level, he should start being a leader and tell the American people this virus is not going away. In countries like South Korea where they “defeated” the virus, it’s already back. There is no vaccine or solution yet. We cannot keep pretending it’s a hoax then crying when hospitals get full nor can we hide from this. People are ill informed and think there is some solution around the corner, there isn’t.

Courts won't let him cut off federal funds to sanctuary cities and you think they'll allow this?

So, he should accept defeat and keep funding the left’s shutdowns? If people were not comfortable and receiving $3-4K a month in unemployment, selling shutdowns and business closures would be incredibly hard on a state and local level.

How do people like you actually think there is a chance in hell of California turning red? Seriously I want to know how anyone who considers them self a rational individual would think there is a snowballs chance in hell of that state every being republican again.

Federalism means that the President does not have unlimited power like Xi.

He said he wouldn’t allow a second shutdown to occur. Explain how he will accomplish this.

This will be the showdown in 2 weeks. Congress will pass another stimulus that continues $600/wk until the end of the year. Question will be, does Trump have the balls to veto it. It comes down to votes and Congress knows it.

His power lies in the veto of any more proposed spending, what is already allocated is done and he signed the bill.
