I doubt if gas is currently $8/gallon in CA but a year ago, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was that high in bigger metropolitan areas.

It’s all about location and where you’re buying it. I just filled up with premium at Costco and it was just under $4/gallon. Go back a few months and it was $5.50ish. Try going to a Chevron and you’ll add another .30 to the Costco price. This is for Fresno. We were in San Diego in August and Costco was $6/gallon for premium. More remote areas along the PCH have already hit the highs he’s talking about. Trump is absolutely spot on in his range. Bilbeau is an idiot and a liar.
