Honestly the best part is the school choice, that lays the ground work for successful generations and to get them on par with other minorities.

We want you! Is how I would put it. If we can just get this younger generation of black Americans to buy into the idea of equal opportunity and not the assumption of equal outcome, I think we will see economic growth and people moving from poor to middle class we have not seen since after WW2.

Agreed, and teachers unions, largely in inner city schools, and majority black, are fighting it tooth and nail. They know they would actually have to teach or lose funding....and their jobs.
Unfortunately single black parents view school as a babysitter and dont give a shat if their kids learn or not so school choice is not a big deal.
