We did.
It’s the right move too.
Oil was hitting $114 a barrel and was expected to surge. People were worried about a bloodbath on Wall Street today.

And you and the white kid with black rapper handle will bitch regardless

Agreed. I don’t give a shite about TACO and who is alpha and who is backing down. Cooler heads need to prevail and some real diplomacy needs to take place.

This may be all part of the strategy to reduce pressure on the oil and stock markets without any real talks having been held.

It’s probably because we won’t be able to control it after, but I’ve wondered why we haven’t dropped crates of small arms in urban centers while droning basij

Should I lower my price limits on the stock purchase orders I have this morning?
That is if this is just noise.

Who are they in discussion with in Iran? Who’s in charge? How can Iran close the straight of Hormuz if their military has been wiped out? Blockade with what? Where are US ships? Does not make any sense.

Great news. The good folk in Iran would have been punished for years if those plants had went down. The Dead Enders don’t care; they “love death more than life”.
Maybe there are a few in the middle’ over there that aren’t hopelessly delusional but even those should not hold future political power UNLESS they are chosen by the people in a FAIR election. Same here.

It sounds like we underestimated
“WE” didn’t underestimate shite… we trusted Israel to create the playbook and call the plays… Trump and Hegseth more than likely getting the frick out of the way now and allowing the people who know what the frick their doing to takeover… Trump has been made to look foolish and Israel will now have his ire

I am questioning if this was part of the initial pre-attack assessment bc it was always obvious this was going to be their play
Supposedly JCOS Caine specifically warned that Iran would close the Strait and it would be difficult for us to open it.
Grok…
Key Details Regarding the Reported Warnings:
Risks Highlighted: Caine reportedly warned about potential retaliatory strikes by Iranian proxies and a lack of sufficient munitions to support a major, prolonged conflict.
Trump's Response: Trump took to social media to call reports of dissent "fake news," stating that Caine was prepared to lead a victorious campaign.
Role Requirements: The Council on Foreign Relations noted that Caine, as a military advisor, was likely fulfilling his duty to advise on risks rather than outright opposing a policy decision.
Caine’s warnings were probably overruled by Lindsey Graham, Bibi, Double Tap Handsome Pete, and Rubio.

It’s the right move because we would have killed thousands of civilians.
Now the key is to keep that blood thirsty lunatic in Tel Aviv from doing something stupid.

Your attitude has been noticed comrade.
Oh yes, it’s been noticed.

He seems preoccupied with Hezbollah in Lebanon right now.

They can't close it. But just the uncertainty and even the small potential of an attack against a vessel can cause major problems. The shipping companies are not going to put the lives of their crews, a $50M to $100M ship carrying another $100M worth of oil at risk. It has to be a safe passage.

The TACO trade comes through again.

I don't know, but I'm just trowing this out there.
I don't think the plan is to actually blow up the electrical facilities. I think it is to disable similar to Gulf war of early 90s.
They'll use these to gum up the works. Facilities can be restored with manual cleaning and all equipment and cabling remain intact and functional.
Graphite bomb.

BS.
You don’t bomb power plants. You take out transmission lines. Easier to repair after the war. Otherwise the victors are in the dark for years. Generators and power transformers are not “off the shelf items” lead times can be months,……not days,

I thought we were trying to win hearts and minds. This seems to have morphed from decapitation strike for regime change to leveling the country.

Trump did. He popped his mouth off with bravado. And the Iranians spelled out what they would do to exact revenge for any actions. The actions Iran spelled out are far too painful for the Arab neighbors (and Israel). And there is no assurance we can defend against these attacks. Trump backed off. And over the next few weeks Trump will lose interest in the whole thing.
