More registered voters in the state of New York view President Trump favorably than outspoken left-wing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., according to the latest poll numbers from the Siena College Research Institute.

While neither politician crossed the 40 favorability percent threshold, Trump had the backing of 36 percent of people surveyed, compared to Ocasio-Cortez's 31 percent.

Bye bye AOC

What does AOC poll in her own district? Is there anyway a Republican could win there with funding or could she keep it forever?

No chance unless there is redistricting. She won 78-14, and the index is a D+29.

She could definitely get primaried though.

Does this get her placed on a "list" to be "primaried"?

Wonder if the other two will make the list if they don't blow up in a public place first.

Because AOC effectively tried to take over her party in the house a few weeks ago, meanwhile at home she is less liked than the bad orange man, which is bad.

Sign me up. I'll slum it in NYC for a bit, establish residency and then crush her. Not like I have anything better to do these anyway

Why do you think AOC was so opposed to so many high paying Amazon jobs that would bleed over to her district? She didn't want her "hoods" to "re-gentrify".

Better to keep the voting base poor and uneducated.

I want the #walkaway guy to run against her.

It has been suggested to him.

I think he could rock it and win. But then again I’m a Deep South Republicanish chick who is way beyond millennial, nor do I live in Queens. So what the hell do I know. That said, nobody’s really sure AOC lives in Queens either.

Extremely doubtful. But she could and should face a serious primary challenge.

It's mind blowing, really...

If Trump had run as a Democrat, won the nomination and beat out a Republican nominee like Cruz, he would be polling 90%+ favorably in NYC.

Even if he had enacted the same policies but under the umbrella of the DNC, they would absolutely be worshipping the magnificent Orange Bastard right now.

Go to craigslist and search for “Astoria” and let us know if you’re willing to pony up that much to “slum” it.

Not since Archie Bunker (legit same district).

You’re so close to figuring out why real conservatives don’t like him.

I like him.

I'm not a "real conservative" I guess.

I'm a minarchist, always have been.

Trump isn't the most conservative president ever, by far. But he's damn sure more conservative that McNoname or Romney.
