Trump will help Ukraine build up their country and military after that war ends. It’s going to disappoint a lot of the Putin lovers on here.

I wasnt being too clear. Yea I can see similar dynamics with Trump and Reagans early years but at certain point both Gorby and Reagan recognized each other as rational actors and Gorby allowed the loss of Soviet Power

Putin is trying to expand Russian power. And he is killler.Trump....well it's why I made this post...I not sure what he wants to do with Russia.

End of the money means the end of Ukraines fighting

Putin will get the territory that was always Russias anyways and problem is solved

Trump wouldn't do much different on Israel. He has said Biden is not supportive enough. But, other than saying a few mean things to Bibi, Biden hasn't restrained Israel whatsoever.

I have no idea about Ukraine, but Trump is saying they need more aid, which is not a good sign for the non-interventionists.
He needs to speak clearly on this issue.

I believe there may be substance to his stance that you've chosen to ignore.

Money no longer "given" but in the form of a loan.

There actually is someone that believes Trump's shite.

"It's a loan!"

Trump policy on Israel and Ukraine
ThuperThumpin
So its said by his supporters and himself that the attack on Ukraine and Israel would not have occurred on his watch. Thats debatable imo but we are past that now and if he is elected he may be dealing with a wider conflict in the middle east and the continuing war in Ukraine.

I really dont have a clue as to how he will engage in these conflicts. On one hand he seems to want to play to the America First crowd in his speeches that while not strictly isolationist certainly lean that way. On the other hand he has shown a willing ness to use and certainly threatens to use American military force when necessary. So how do you all see him engaging in these matters? Will it be much different than Biden and how so?

good question, he will inherit a mess and Democrats will make it a fricking nightmare for 4 years

Peace through strength is how he works... He doesn't want war at all

so he shows you the big stick, makes you think he will use it and is enough for people to come to their senses

Israel will get backed

Ukraine will lose....

Trump will just negotiate a settlement and tap out

he will ask what Putin wants and figure out how to give it to him...

then Trump will get death threats from our Intel agencies

we're screwed and so is Trump...

Look I hope you are right but I'm not convinced that will satisfy Putin.

No.. but considering the amount of Russian lives lost and money thats being committed I dont see Putin satisfied with just the Donbas and Crimea. He wants all of Ukraine......and depending on how that goes and the state of affairs in NATO maybe challenge article 5 in the Baltics at some point in the future.

Ukraine falls to Russia is not my major concern other than the longer they are stalled the longer folks in places like the Baltics have to prepare a strong deterrent.

My concern in all this for my family to not learn what the inside of hot pocket feels like. All these rumblings from various NATO countries about possible boots on the ground in Ukraine could mean Trump or Biden will be facing a much different war 6 months from now. Which is why I'm curious how Trump would handle it.

I dont disagree but if unless he was bluffing that means he was willing to what? Unleash hell on Russia or Iran?

There are a few dozen Wagner guys in Syria that can attest to what Trump is willing to do if they tried to frick with US interests in the region.

Israel can handle their bidniss with Hamas. The IDF almost exclusively is built to fight, repel, withstand and outlast all the myriad variations of organized radical Islam goat rapers.

So far, their conflict with Iran has been tit for tat and nothing more. I expect that to remain the same. None of these nations really want mutually assured thermonuclear destruction right now.

And as far as Ukraine goes, Russia has already won that war and the continued fighting is only resulting in more unnecessary bloodshed and death. I know that the Call of Duty keyboard warriors from the O-T Ukraine thread disagree, but they lack perspective because it's hard to see out of their own arse from the couch in their mom's basement.

I'm fine with Trump letting the Eastern half of the globe handle their own shite, and instead focusing on securing our own borders and solving our own innumerable issues. But, we won't see that unless Team Trump has found a way to consistently defeat the election fraud machine from coast to coast. Will be difficult to do, when the conservatives are busy preparing to fight the Uniparty's 2020 election fraud tactics, but the Uniparty has already evolved to the census/pure overwhelming numbers strategy.

So you know think Russia is going to take over the Baltics?

You are just fear porn

Russia wants Ukraines resources and they acheived that. If they wanted Kiev they would have it by now

I dont know anything. Just speculating-discussing it with you guys. It does seem insane at this time that Putin would step foot on NATO soil now or in the immediate future. Maybe a flashpoint occurs along the Suwalki Gap that ends up widening the confict. History shows us though...shite happens and the leaders of the Baltic states are certainly taking the threat seriously.

Even if Russia had invaded Ukraine under Trump, he wouldn’t have scuttled the early peace talks like Biden and Boris Johnson did.

Hamas wouldn’t have had Iran’s blessing to attack Israel, as Iran already saw what Trump did to Soleimani.
