Hell yeah it's crooked. All about the $$$$ and who can be bought off

Does the Constitution ask for a specific amount of due process and Trump is demanding less than that? Do you even know what due process is?

Trump is arguing for less due process. Is that what you would like?
well to be fair, liberals and progressives cheered Obama's actions to decrease due process in various areas, and protested examples of due process

Oh. Most people. I see. Tell us more.

You’ve done it now. Here comes the trump circle jerk

Our President is right once again!

Trump is arguing for less due process.
The Home Depot truck guy is an example. He is on video getting out of the truck, he is shown holding guns (not real guns, but that's irrelevant), he is the document renter of the truck, he has photos on his cell phone taking pictures of the site where he implemented his murderous plan, and was shot and taken into custody trying to flee.
There is zero doubt he is the person who killed those innocent people.
But it is going to take years and millions of dollars to convict and sentence him.
If that's what Trump is referring to then I am in complete agreement with him.
"Justice delayed is justice denied."

Trump and his minions) would argue that our justice system gives too many rights to defendants.

He’s becoming a walking cliche of things he thinks his base wants to hear. In this case it’s the old “I’m tough on crime” line. Yes our justice system is terribly flawed, but I think you’d be hard-pressed to present a cogent argument that it’s too “soft.” It’s one of the most punitive in the world and miles more punitive than any other western system.
And it’s such a strange context to raise the issue. Every surviving terrorist convicted of attempting, conducting, or aiding an act of terrorism on US soil is either (1) serving multiple life sentences (Zacarias Moussaoui, Richard Reid, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab) or (2) on death row (Dzhokhar Tsarnaev). shite is a lot tougher for them at ADX Florence than it would be at GITMO. And there is absolutely 0.0% a federal court is going to let a legal permanent resident who committed an act of terror on U.S. soil and is already in federal custody he submitted to some military tribunal anyway. And why the bell would he be? He’s not a war-criminal. He’s a damned terrorist and a murderer—a criminal.
Just more chin music. It’s not that hard to look like a leader and uniter in the wake of acts of terrorism. No need for the distractions.

I'm genuinely curious what you're basing this on.
We've had 580 reported convictions for terrorism in the United States since 9/11. If we presume your numbers are the average, that would be over a billion dollars in costs and centuries worth of time. That doesn't seem accurate.

Haven’t dims been screaming about reforming the justice system?

while i do agree this is just making a "Clay Higgins"-esque talking point, until he does something to decrease due process, he's still ahead of, at least, his last 2 predecessors on that front

And I think Sessions is working on some due process erosion down the street, FWIW.

The Progressive Left wants exhaustive Legal Formalism for admitted ISIS Jihadi murderers. And a lynch Mob for a duly- elected President.
I think I see the pattern.

it should be clear by now that Trump talks a lot of shite to get headlines and into the consciousness of his voting base
it should also be clear by now that he'll actually do about 1/50th of what he claims
still waiting on that border wall
