This is no way separate from populism. Many of the investors buying single family homes arent massive corporations but are Mom n Pop operations.

Yet you didn't argue the numbers I presented. My first job was minimum wage, 3.35. After taxes I received about 2.20 for an hour's work. Gas was about $1 at the time. One hours work would buy me 2.2 gallons of gas. A couple weekends ago my wife and I were at the same McDonalds (new building but same location). Sing on the door said help wanted starting at $15 an hour. After taxes, a highschooler would have $10 for an hour of work and this morning I bought gas at $2.48. That would be 4 gallons. A 90% improvement over my situation in highschool.

how about healthcare?

property taxes, home and/or flood insurance, grocery costs (go look at the price of ground meat lately), utility costs, etc.

Give all the examples you want, but shite is more expensive right now. Regulations are out of control, government intervention is out of control...shite what is being stated by Trump in this video doesn't help any of this out.

Wish people would focus on Congress instead of the President, Congress can be like a God if it wants too, but it hasn't been that way in quiet some time.

Still- what he's doing is better than denying there are issues.

One major issue is using median, too. A major issue with housing prices is that desirable housing in desirable areas is much more rare (and vicariously, expensive).

That's why the "he lives in bumfrick Alabama" comes into play.

Tons of more reasonably-priced housing in areas like that across the US. The housing and location are issues, though.

This wasn't a concern in the first era of his data, either, when our underclass wasn't such a large % of our total population, ruining areas across the country.

What on Earth are you goofballs complaining about? He is talking about building your way into lower housing costs which he is correct. If you flood the market with a housing surplus it will lead to home values plummeting or were you not alive during the 2008 housing crisis where there was excess housing inventory? It’s not like he is directing builders to stop building. Interest rates still need to come down, they are way too high regardless of housing inventory.

You are an idiot. A home is an investment not just “a place to live”. The usual suspects of Rog and his merry band of retards have crawled out their holes

You went from "luxury fishing resort" to charter lodge at mach 3.

You got caught in a lie, cant find a way out so you decided to dig as deep as humanely possible.

At this point Trump could announce that the US is moving towards an islamic caliphate system and walt would say they were willing to see how it goes before passing judgment.

If housing values drop people will bitch.

No matter what, people will bitch.

Get government out of housing, we can all agree on that.

All this whining and crying here reminds me of growing up playing acoustic musical instruments. All the kids my age that were too lazy to do the work necessary get good at playing their instruments made excuses about how they couldn't learn for this reason or that reason. Mind you they had working fingers, working eyes and working ears. They were just lazy. Years later, when those same individuals saw us play they would say "It must be nice to be "Gifted"", like my brother and I received our abilities wrapped in a box Christmas morning. Instead of doing the work necessary to get better, they were still making excuses. 50 years later, this morning at 4 am I was picking before leaving for work.

Healthcare was free in 1981? I don't recall that.

People in 1981 didn't have to pay for those? I remember my mother taking a gallon glass jug to the local dairy and buying milk for $1 a gallon in the 1970's/1980's. Milk yesterday at walmart was $2.89. Almost 3 times as much, but the median income has increased 4.7 times what it was in 1981.

You never give him credit for anything and gnash your teeth at every statement you find offensive which is essentially every thing out of his mouth. You argue with everything like a child
