no, that would be actual policy.

like 99% of trump tweets are either personal attacks or statements about someone or something. Very rarely about policy.

Trump is a narcissist, no doubt.

But it's an exercise in futility to freak out every time he makes a dumb tweet.

What does that accomplish? Outside of a coup or assassination, you just have to learn to deal with it for another 3 or 7 years.

On a personal level, why bring yourself to get upset time and time and time again. Just ignore the man if you hate him so much.

If you have a nagging mother or parent, do you sit there and get upset everytime she nags you, or do you go away and ignore it? Any sane person does the latter.

Dear god.

So why do YOU spend all day every day on a chat board defending Trump's every tweet, utterance and action?

On a personal level, why bring yourself to get upset time and time again. Just ignore the posters who don't like Trump if you disagree with them so much.

Yes I'm conservative. And it could be a WHOLE lot better than it currently is. Further, I just don't get the Ttump loyalists. As I've said for a while, Trump would do better and be more successful if his followers didn't rationalize, deflect and just plain cheer for his outrageous comments and statements.

it was nearly a foregone conclusion that it was going to be another 4 years of left wing rule in the WH. Last november was a miracle, if only because it kept out their policies.

Trump is personally not a good man. But he is on your side when it comes to taxes, immigration, regulations, healthcare, etc.

That's what should matter to you. I don't get why you and DEG came out and immediately crapped on the gop tax plan last week. That makes no sense to me.

you are conflating the point.... you said they are "just words"... again, words, whether you choose to believe it or not, have weight, especially in certain contexts....

either way, the Don needs to put down the phone, stop tweeting like a 13 year old little girl that just got dumped, and start acting like fricking adult and start getting "policy" stuff done... he's fricking failing in a big way, in that regards... y'all didn't elect him to get a SC judge, regardless of what some you spineless bastards want to say.... y'all were all about that wall, repeal and replace, etc... NONE of that is getting or will get done as long as he's worried about the most insignificant shite...

I didn't crap on the GOP tax plan. I'm not even exactly sure what's in it. And yes he's not HRC. But if that's the only standard, it's a wasted opportunity.

Wrong. The tax plan was used as a reason that it's somehow ok that Trump's personal travel has cost tax payers an estimated $30M+. A tax plan that congress has yet to approve.

In other words, we are giving him cover for something that very well might not happen.

Quit making shite up.

Are you referring to Bush and Katrina? Which president didn’t support which hurricane relief effort?

Again, what did Trump do? What was different this time?

Trump has done more good things for this country in less than a year than the Muslim did in 8 years, so there’s that. Prove me wrong, please

We had a chance to make real progress with DT. A Republican congress and White House. But Trump alienates centrist votes in congress by constantly saying the wrong thing. CONSTANTLY. A republican president gridlocked with a republican congress.

What a waste!

Rubio but would've voted for absolutely any of them over Trump.

I'll support him on policy, and have. I think Gorsuch was a great pick. He's done some great things on EO but as you know that can be overturned with the next Pres. I just think character matters a lot and he's completely deficient. I can't stand HRC but I think that video where he's knocking her down is just gross. And I just hate what my side is turning into, cheering the worst most disgraceful things. And you have actual R cheering for him when he attacks the 1st A. If we don't stand for a free press, we don't stand for anything.

i'm really kinda in shock to see this being said, because it's exactly how Republicans SHOULD feel...

i am very grateful for your candor and honesty... for real...
