Agreed. It's tragic actually.

Trump is a narcissist, no doubt.

But it's an exercise in futility to freak out every time he makes a dumb tweet.

What does that accomplish? Outside of a coup or assassination, you just have to learn to deal with it for another 3 or 7 years.

On a personal level, why bring yourself to get upset time and time and time again. Just ignore the man if you hate him so much.

If you have a nagging mother or parent, do you sit there and get upset everytime she nags you, or do you go away and ignore it? Any sane person does the latter.

Don't have one, but you inferred it when you said something about job numbers. At least that is what I took from your post.

choosing to get angry or outraged over a dumb tweet is almost as silly as the dumb tweet itself.

Attention is a scarce resource. There are more important things to focus on than twitter statements.

Trump is 70 years old. He will not change his ways. he is who he is. How does it benefit the country to give it the airtime it doesn't deserve?

Who's freaking out? He tweets, we notice. He is the president. We should be able to comment, both positively and negatively, on what he says and does. Frankly I think he's got some real mental issues.

Twitter statements are just words.

What's that old saying? Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me.

I don't think anyone here is getting getting angry or freaking out like you are implying. This is a message board where we post our opinions about current events and sports.

In 3 or 7 years if a democrat gets in office and starts getting through shitty legislation, I'm sure you'd be wishing you could go back to when twitter statements were the big thing to worry about....

Gotta keep things in perspective.

DEG and Half cajun, y'all are both conservative republicans, right?

It can be far far worse than it currently is.

just words, huh.... so if he says we are bombing N. Korea in his next tweet, it's just words, right? surely, N. Korea and everyone else will understand that it's "just words"....

Are you serious?! The presidents words have weight, in ANY medium. How can you not acknowledge that?

Or do you think everyone should ignore him, including Congress.

This is all well and good, but you were just referring to people who WROTE WORDS, THAT Pence's act today was more of a publicity stunt, and this was one of your reactions:

The MSB is an indictment of this trend and I fear we are descending into a thousand years of darkness
