Yes, they are working to pass legislation that allowed foreigners to purchase rural land within Patagonia. Currently foreign land purchase is capped at 15%, Milei is attempting to move that to 30%.
They have been several false stories on social media regarding Milei and Israel stating that he will invite hundreds of thousands of Jews to create and enclave in Patagonia. While I do not believe that is actually true, the door is wide open for them. There are now direct flights from Buenos Aires to Tel Aviv. Plus other developments.
