Not good for whom? Trump supporters don't care about the fraud regarding Trump University for which Trump paid $25 million. Allegations or proof of fraud by Trump or his organizations has absolutely no impact on Trump supporters. None. Zero. If the goal of this prosecution is to impugn Trump's reputation by making an allegation of fraud, it won't work.

Joe Biden had to drop out of two POTUS races due to plagiarizing and lying about his credentials.

Voters typically do punish candidates for fraud and deception. But for reasons that are difficult for most people to understand, those same charges have no adverse impact on Trump whatsoever. It is simply a fact that it does not matter what the New York D.A. presents. None of this will move or sway a single Trump supporter. It is also a fact that Trump will not serve any jail time in connection with paying off Stormy Daniels. As a political hit strategy, this is a waste of time.

Anyone with any sense would recognize that if this is the best they can do then there’s probably nothing there. If there’s nothing there then all histrionics about Trump over the last 8 years have been BS. If it’s all BS then why and for whom are they lying?

This is the chain of logic a non-cult member should be asking right now.

Trump could get convicted, sentenced to prison and it still would not prevent him from running for or becoming President. Read the Constitution.

All of the charges boil down to fraud, which is not good.

Even if the man skates, it's terrible for his public image. For a former president whose credibility is already so low as a result of years of compulsive lying, this is coup de grace for his campaign. What kind of campaign will his "army" be able to mount when it'll be constantly fending off attack ads?

Yes, they never called Trump a liar before, or attacked him based on meritless investigations, so this will really add to their arsenal.

You voted for Biden even after having seen a laptop full of shady business dealings he and his son were involved in.

If you people had actual real proof that Trump was doing shady shite like Hunter’s laptop then it might be a different story, but all we ever see are accusations of wrongdoing that fall flat on their face, or are outright hoaxes like Russia collusion.

If Trump were the criminal you whackadoos say he is, you wouldn’t have to constantly make up lies about the man to convince people.

That's true enough, when we're talking about hard-core Trump supporters-- rally attenders, bloggers, OAN/ Newsmax junky's, et al.

The ingrained deficiency in Trump's 2024 campaign is the same which sunk his 2020 bid, though worse this time due to the indictment, rampant allegations of fraud, and criminality. It's the independent vote, and the crucial "UNDECIDED" dempgraphic. These "undecideds" are usually a small fraction of the total vote, maybe 5-10%, but are critical in swing states, and can make the difference between a 100 vote EV win or a 200 vote EV loss. The presence of Trump, with all his negatives as a nominee, will attract "undecideds" to the opposition like horseflies to a honeypot.
