If there weren’t people like Rand and Massie then the Rs could be accused of just being like the Ds.

Rubber stamp everything.

I’m pretty sure I’ve heard that criticism of the Ds from the most ardent here.

Is there an amount added to the deficit where you disagree with the bill and Trump?

Nothing says “owning the libs” like outspending them and replacing conservatives with democrats. Trump is the best friend democrats could ever have.

But how has this been his fault? He has at least 75% of Congress against him at this point.
Tends to happen when you call to primary representatives that mirror the party base.

The deficit is either a real problem like Massie thinks or it is just a justification to cut programs conservatives don't like but do very little to actually reduce the deficit (how the GOP actually behaves).

Unless you believe modern monetary policy is real life it absolutely matters.

Maybe Paul Ryan wasn’t the problem for Trump 1.0?

Which means he won't see any progress. He'd rather never see any tax or spending cuts than have them happen over time.

Cool so you think adding $10 trillion to the debt of the next 10 years is awesome.

quote:

Cuts have been made at the executive.

Dude stop. No "cuts" have been made. AT ALL. The "cuts" have simply been re-appropriated. Or do you honestly think that having a larger deficit this year than last year implies a cut of any kind whatsoever?

quote:

No. He's stupid for not taken a win in some cuts that leads to NO cuts and taxes being raised.

A legitimate point. However, please explain why Trump hasn't done A SINGLE MOTHER FRICKIN THING to cut the deficit or curb our debt. NOT ONE THING. Covid or not, Trump's record on spending is utterly abysmal. I mean, if Trump actually had a track record of cutting spending in any capacity, your point might have some merit. One would think that with all the "proven warrior" "Nothing can stop what's coming" bullshite we heard in the campaign, that Trump would actually support the deficit hawks, but it will be more of the same. More kicking the can down the road. More alignment with the RINOs.

Who's fault is this really? Trumps 1st 4 years Republicans had the house, senate and WH. Nothing accomplished. Same thing setting up for 2nd 4 years. Not a single EO codified. Nothing passed yet.

But hey, Congress can still play the stock market and can also vote via proxy now. Absolutely nothing substantial for the American people.

Republicans just cant help stepping all over their dicks when it comes to having power.
