Chaffetz said this morning that Congress has only about four or five, more or less, more days of being in session until the Nov. elections. If Congress doesn't do something this is all we will hear about until then. So, if Trump has to do an EO, whether it be by blackmail or not, then I'm willing to trade his EO for the more important issue facing our country - injustice in our Justice Dept.

I would love to know what Congressman are so busy doing that they cannot work together and fix or put a temporary fix on this issue.
Oh yeah, Schumer and the Dems don't want to fix it. From his own mouth, they'd rather keep the focus on Trump.
This shouldn't require an EO, but it will likely require it because Congress can't (won't) do shite about anything but they're all happy to stand up and blow hot air. fricking clean house in congress. Get rid of all their asses in one fell swoop and bar any of them from holding public office again at any level.

He's not.
Trump proposes EO that says biological children can stay with parents in a detention center after valid proof of familial relationship and only if parents are not accused of crimes or a possible danger to children.
Then he tweets that he is forced to protect immigrant families through EO because Dems in congress like Schumer wont.
All that does is echo and re-enforce the current rule while showing his care and support for the families and flipping the problem on the Progs. It's a win/win.

Asking for the Congress to change a law that some want to see changed is how the process works under the Constitution. Giving the executive unfettered discretion to make the laws is a terrible idea.
