It's true that Meatball would do a lot of good for this country, and I'd rather not have four more years of Democrats fricking this country up.

But, I'm not tied to Meatball and I don't depend on the federal government for happiness in life. I think the emotional tethering you people have to Trump is fricking weird.

Chump does not want to be put on the spot regarding covid, lockdowns, posion jab, not jailing Hillary, etc, I could go on and on and on.

I don't believe in voting in federal elections anymore after 2020. Having said that DeSantis would kill Chump with a thousand cuts.

If you look at polls closely, I believe that only about 20% of Trump supporters are Always Trumpers (but lot of them here) and the others will be paying attention to the first debate. That is where I see the blunder ... him and his staff believing that the Always Trumpers are a larger percentage and will continue to support him mo matter what. The 20% won't change after the debate.
