I was talking about succession. So, if a two term President was serving as, say, Speaker of the House, and some series of events caused the Presidency and Vice Presidency to be vacant, then the 22nd Amendment would not prevent the Speaker from taking the seat.

I wasn't advocating for a two term President to just declare an emergency or anything like that.

Dude it’s the first line of the 22nd amendment

Take it up with Dershowitz. He apparently outlines "several different ways" Trump could run for a third term. I haven't read the book yet, as it hasn't been released, but he's been pimping it already. He said it was an interesting premise for a book as an intellectual exercise. Trump already has a copy of the book.

Alan Dershowitz just wrote a book alleging he can indeed run for a third term because the constitution is "unclear" on this matter. In the book he outlines a number of ways Trump could indeed run for a third term.

I’m a Trump supporter and voted for him in every election he ran. That said, this is his last term due to term limits. If he were to force another election that he would run again for a third term than so could Barrack Obama, and he would lose to Obama in that scenario in my opinion. Two terms are enough, it’s time for new blood like Vance or Rubio.

I just wanted to confirm that you didn't hold yourself to the same standards you attempt to hold others. That's typical for a leftist.

Trump's job and his usefulness will be done at the end of this term. By hook or crook, true biblical conservatives need to make sure that Trump's tear down of the federal government is complete so that we may rebuild it in a way that reflects our values and glorifies God.

The first test of this is the midterms. If the commie left wins a majority of Congress then drastic action will need to be taken. In that case Trump may need to stay past 2029.

I sincerely hope not. I am not a fan of domestic bloodshed.
