Dude. Cost of living has far outpaced wages from prior generations. This isn't even debatable. It's not a "left wing" thing. It's a fact.
You're wrong. You've been duped, and yes - the duping has been perpetrated (largely) by the leftwing.
It's weird that tens of millions fight so hard to be able to feel victimized. The fact is, life in the US has never been better and easier than it is today.

But that doesn't mean someone could afford that home. If you made 100K a year and had zero other debt obligations that payment would really stretch your budget.
Let's go worst case here and say this 100K earner pays 30% in taxes. That would be 70k net or $5,833 take home pay per month. If we go with just a standard mortgage calculator LINK with PMI and everything, let's say this person pays $3k per month for mortgage (that's higher than the calculator).
$2,833 a month, after mortgage, isn't enough to live off? I could have easily made that work even with my college loans and had money to spare.

Why wouldn’t someone be happy for you?

Do you really need data to prove that, as one example, it's easier to feed yourself today than it was less than a hundred years ago when we legit struggled to get everyone fed? Today, the "starving" kids are all obese. Don't you just know that from not being in a coma today?

This thread is about housing

Considering I’ve only been on here since the lsu coach search that is false. Biden was a retard but the world still spun and it’s doing the same under Trump while you complain.

And my comments have been more broad than that, and in response to posts like the following -
It is very difficult for young people to be independent and get ahead. Much more difficult than the previous generations had it.
Who posted that? Oh yeah, it was you.
Moreover, the same argument goes for housing. You just have to be economically literate to understand it.

You can't prove anything with facts or numbers. Because you know they won't support your argument.
Have fun being a sock puppet.

I've owned a home before. I prefer renting. Makes me more agile since I tend to do some traveling for work. Home ownership would just be a pain in my arse. I'll buy one when I retire.

Housing is unaffordable and overvalued in most of the country and these retarded boomer wants to make it even higher.
Mainly because hedge funds have been buying up single family neighborhoods and renting them out.

Some of you are really retarded. Why would you want home values to drop? Do you want a Great Recession?
