Awesome
Can IB90proof or anyone answer the simple question of
"how much have daily products we use gone up since tariffs?"

Pretty sure Irritable Bowels works for Rooms To Go. He was making some furniture comments yesterday. Either that or he’s in the Chinese trinket business.

As I told IBFreeman, rescinding tariffs was never in discussion. Holding back on tariff increases is the negotiating point.

are you implying that that figure is easily calculated?
if you want a "simple" estimate of the trade war's cost, you can have a lower bound

So nothing huh
At least one person tried with washing machines up 50

are you, or not? is it a leading question that you think will feed a point that you wish to make? if so, go ahead and make it

Its a very simple question
None of you can answer
Im not surprised

doesn't imply there's a nice, neat answer, nor does the question encapsulate all of the damage a trade war can do
i know you're wired to think of everything in terms simple enough for a toddler to keep track of, so i feel for you as you bray about on this, as if you have something worthwhile to add
Posted on 11/8/19 at 10:02 am to 90proofprofessional
So you have added nothing other then you cant answer
What kind of shite professor are you

OH, IBreeeeeeman won't like this one bit. His Chinese trinket business will go in the shitter, if it hasn't already.

He was REEEEEEEE-ing it up about them being lifted a couple days ago. Even poking fun at Trump for lifting them.

i told you, you can have a lower bound
but the value of this particular little thing you're so ardently clinging to has by itself little bearing on the overall impact of the trade war
and- although i know you can't go very long without bleeding all over the place about me- it doesn't really do much to counter any particular point i've made, regardless of the actual answer
if you're really interested for some reason in understanding a rigorous answer to how trump's tariffs have impacted any particular consumer's prices, you've probably got years of homework to do

Thats a lot of words to say you cant answer
Posted on 11/8/19 at 10:31 am to trinidadtiger
Didn’t IB start a thread yesterday saying tariffs would be relaxed?
Posted on 11/8/19 at 11:03 am to trinidadtiger
This is going exactly as IB said it would.
