We agree... and here is the thing, this was set up by labeling them a currency manipulator.

No they aren't. Their supply chain infrastructure isn't even close to what China can offer unfortunately.

So another trade war with Vietnam after the businesses relocate ?

Ok, concede that he may be slightly insane? He's not completely insane anymore than I'm completely in the poorhouse now with the market drop.

So you are ok with government telling a private business where they can and cannot manufacture goods? Why do you hate freedom?

Sounds like Trump is in line with Elizabeth Warren & her " You didn't build that " speech .

Progressive

Well, that's certainly a word that you have no clue on the definition of.

Removing jobs from people of color and intentionally tanking their economy, while also returning economic power to fly-over country is now progressive ideology?

Who knew?

The DOW has gone from under 19,000 to over 26,000 during this "trade war".

Calm your tits.

The world is a big place with lots of suppliers. I'm sure Mexico is chomping at the bit to pick up the business away from China.

How is a 2% decline after massively inflated DOW a "tank"? A "tank" would be way into double digit declines.

Risky statements by Trump. I hope they turn out well. Domestic production that is affordable would be amazing; jobs like we haven’t seen in generations. I like bold, but there’s a balance.

Our government spending is way too dependent on debt to piss of our global debtors, China included.

He’s a much smarter man than I am, but I hope he doesn’t get too ballsy.

It would be better served here but if we can get the trade deal through congress it would be good for us and Mexico.

Liar.

The Dow was at 26,617 when Trump started the trade war in January of 2018.

Currently it sits at 25,749 - 19 months later.
