It sure as hell wasn't Kamala Harris.
She isn't giving advice. She is stating the governments policy on AI. How you or I feel about it is entirely irrelevant.

No offense, but there's no one to peer with here. If you want to get in to the limitations, and performance bounds of AI we can do that all you like. You go first.
In lieu of that... y'all are forming opinions based on people with extreme self-interests, political, monetary, and power ambitions that know literally nothing to do with AI. Don't eat the bait. Parroting people doesn't make you smart. You'll end up like the triple-masked, 12x vaccinated covidiots were.
It's classic Dunning-Krueger. Not knowing immediately that APL is fear-monger parroting something someone fed her for the purpose of getting "authorities" to speak on their behalf is... well... I dont' have anything nice to say about it.

And your statement isn't exactly true either. I have had some effect on AI in the past already. It's laughable in scope, but greater than 0.
