He'll probably be on the tube more today than Joe will all month.

This is complete utter insanity. And nobody is doing jack shite about it while the tiny minority of progressives/communists completely destroyed America.

I’m not trying to sound like I don’t care about Rush because I thought he was great for this country.. but he was a radio personality who made millions of dollars doing what he loved to do

Yes, it’s sad, but there really shouldn’t be wall to wall programming about his death.

What pisses me off is that I have friends in Texas who I haven’t heard from in the past few days and I can’t seem to find anyone on the major news talking about the situation going on in that state

Beat me to it.

These people are showing that indeed liberalism is a mental disease.

Well yeah, it's Texas. People in the rest of the country were largely ignorant about what Hurricane Michael did as well because of where it hit.

By pointing out the obvious, in that Trump has more time on his hands than Biden?

This is such a bad take. How do you ignore the influence he had on the conservative movement? He changed the game for conservative media, and he's more well known than most politicians.

I don't disagree about this, but if you're looking to the corporate press for actual news, you're looking in the wrong place.

Nah, kid. It would be useful to have the resident speaking a couple times a week to the world, or the country that installed him. Nothing to do with Trump out of office having time and everything to do with Biden's handlers hiding him away. Put the man on TV and not rely on sketchy media telling lies.

You do realize Trump very rarely did this and chose to communicate via Twitter

Agreed, Rush is a great American who loved his country. He will be missed.

He's probably the most important political figure in the last 30 years. More important than any POTUS. He gave voice to conservatism and is largely responsible for the tea party, America First Trumpism, and focusing the spotlight on the swamp than any one person.

So that's why you don't want to hear about Rush? You do know 2 things can happen at the same time, right?

You can't even be serious here...you missed all the trips to his chopper where he spoke with the media as a start? This just shows you are being disingenuous at best and completely misinformed at worst.

We must use different TVs then. So what about Biden, can't he do a couple appearances a week? Or 4-5 a month? I'd like to know what the president is up to and hear directly from him and not an intern on Twitter.

Trump was the most accessible and transparent President, maybe ever. The first 2 years or so, Trump was giving weekly press conferences, and/or being interviewed by whatever media outlet wanted to interview him, regardless of bias. Obama never did that. You can damn sure bet Pedophile Joe won't do it either.

How old are you?

You probably aren't old enough to remember what it was like in the 80's and early 90's before Rush really started making a difference. There was no conservative voices for us to listen to, there was no Fox News when is was conservative, no internet, Rush was all we had for a very long time.

I guess it is easy now with all the information at your fingertips to really not understand what he did and what an important role he made in the conservative moment!
