This is the perfect example of the short-sightedness of conservatives. You won't spend $10b on a border wall that would save $100b annually. Who cares if it saves us money in the long run, I want no spending at all! If that means more illegals, then so be it. My economic principles are more important than not letting our women and children be raped and murdered.
It's a good thing that Trump isn't conservative. From this board, I've learned that conservatives are whiny, naive, ignorant, emotional tools that will team up with democrats when they don't get their way.
They struggle to grasp anything not directly in front of their face. They can't comprehend that reducing taxes is not spending. They will sell out the country in the name of "conservative" virtues without a single thought towards common sense, reality, or practicality.
I used to consider myself conservative, but I'm too embarrassed to be associated with the weak "conservatives" on this board. Now I'm just proudly America First.
