But look at Nevada, AZ, and FL. What you are seeing in Fl is a direct result of planning before DeSantis was elected!

That game plan is still in action.

In what states?

Desantis will just be the new Trump. They will just label him a fascist and a White evangelical that hates women and gays. Its too easy for the democrats.

If so, DeSantis will handle the media 100x better.

People: The strength of the conservative candidate means nothing.....Libs vote left, and Cons vote right, period.

If the libs get out and vote, we lose. Libs outnumber the cons, just pure math.

You would be the one to give Trump credit for Florida.

What a clown.

He doesn't seem to take any so why bother giving any.

Independents outnumber dems and republicans.

So many names on political board last two days. Really sad that chicken allows this crap.

Even if we were able to bring Florida-style elections to Georgia and Arizona, that still wouldn't be enough to get him to 270. What's the path?

There is no path. But he’s Trump, sent from heaven to save us, he must be the nominee.

DeSantis isn't a fricking moron and doesn't constantly step on his own dick like Trump.

Trump/DeSantis 2024 followed by 8 years of President DeSantis would work wonders to make America great again.

That would be ideal. But it's at least possible that Trump isn't electable. And as such Ron would be taking a huge risk hitching his wagon to Trump.

I love trump, but he has run his course.

This

The debates during 2015-16 and his policies were great....but too many people hate him and we badly need a candidate that can win. He can't.

These are trolls. Retards don’t represent the majority

I'm no troll. Voted for Trump twice. I'm done with him if there's another option (which there will be.)

It's not personal, even though I find his lack of humility and narcacicistic behavior to be a huge weakness. I love his policies, but in the face of the worst economy in 40 years, voters (spurred by the MSM in regards to January 6), rejected R's.

You can read it as a win if it helps you sleep, but the bottom line is R's won fewer seats yesterday than when Obama was President.

What’s the exact reason or reasons why you and the others blame Trump for that general belief? I guess I’ve missed that direct explanation.

They are touting DeSantis as their new savior while telling you to stop treating Trump as a savior. DeSantis is doing nothing special. He is in a predominantly republican state making republican views work. Miami Dade was great but when you think about it it's predominantly Cuban and there is a zero percent chance they are voting for communism. DeSantis has a great luxury in Florida. The state has been republican for years well before desantis.. 20 years of republican governors.Any solid America first Republican would do the same there. He is a good candidate for 24 if Trump doesn't run. Bottom line is Trump has already proven he can turn America into a power in no time flat. He would do it again and is a proven asset for American conservatives views and bank accounts and most importantly saftey. He is not responsible for the Republicans failure to produce what many thought should have been more seats. They were projected as maybes and never a given. Depends on what polls you like to follow and how many democrats are counting votes. If you want to turn on someone Mitch McConnell is the place to start. In fact I believe that has already started within the party.
