I heard him speak on the radio, I actually think he doesn’t really want to do this. You could hear sadness in his voice, he has given Iran every opportunity to come back to negotiations. That’s why the orders haven’t been sent, he wants them to know strikes are approved first. Like a “last chance before I pull the trigger” thing.
I think this whole situation is weighing on him. He knows he cannot allow them to have a nuke, but this is different than bombing isis or Hamas or the Taliban. You can tell he prefers the peaceful route
