Your ignorance of how this is going knows no limits. You passed up ignorant on the way to Fantasy Land.
Trump got us into this with the sale of Javelins and other military hardware the last time he was President. Then he decided to stay in the muck by thinking that he alone could make a peace deal...Raoul, Trump is not the ultimate deal maker....he wasn't even the top developer in Manhattan. Putin has always wanted Kyiv since the beginning of the war. Zelensky knows this, Macron knows this and Merz knows this, hell, Xi knows it. The only people who don't know this apparently Trump and Putin Brothers who inhabit this board and certain naive quarters of X.
If Putin feels he even has the slightest advantage he will use it . Militarily he'll keep all offensive actions contained in Ukraine, but he also won't mind yanking NATO'S chain across the northern European Plain as well as in the Baltic, including Finland.
I would shut down any traffic out of Russia coming west.....and soon, including the shadow fleets smuggling out oil.

I don't know if I'd consider it much of a victory
Russia and Ukraine are both completely fricked for decades. Things were already dire before the war and now they're losing hundreds of thousands of people and exhausting a lot of resources in the process.
What they will have gained will not likely be enough to balance what they've lost in the process

I’m ignorant but you’re literally declaring an act of war, and you want me to take you serious?
Do you know why pearl harbor was bombed and we were forced into WW2? The only difference now are our allies are pathetic and we don’t have a Soviet empire who can assist on the eastern flank.
But go ahead go to war for Ukraine and send millions of Americans kids to their deaths for European who hate you regardless and wouldn’t ever fight for themselves.

Ukraine for sure for Russia only time will tell. They lost 31 million in WW2

You don't think President Trump takes things personally to a high degree?

In the case of Russia you have taken a nation with an almost stagnant population and the removed about 250K virile men from the equation.....Ukraine wasn't in any better shape.

That's just the people who got killed
That doesn't include those that fled the country

Frankly, being fought to a stalemate on your own border, by a far lesser opponent, is a "really bad thing" for Putin as it is. IMO, he'd trade economic/sanction losses for military wins if he could. The question is "can he"? Zelinsky's behavior in DC opened a window for Putin to optimize Russian outcome, but it's closing fast.

Well, Trump is an easily manipulated idiot, so does this shock anyone?
His supporters think he is some kind of outside-the-muck leader, but he's as much in that bog as the people he attacks.

Best case scenario for Russia in the medium term is to end the war. The will not be able to sustain negative population growth with an aging population that sees its life expectancy dropping to the lowest in Europe, especially for males.

Im surprised you feel the Nato trained army with nato trained equipment, coordinated by Nato logistics, commanded by Nato military experts, whos entire country has been funded and transformed into a war economy for Nato, using Nato intelligence and Nato satellites IS a lesser opponent to Russia. Very interesting.

It has been interesting to watch retards try to both argue that Russia is really weak militarily and also a threat to destroy all of Europe at the same time.

Why should NATO allow a belligerent safe passage through the Bosphorus? or access the Atlantic via the Baltic? Putin is free to ship out of Vladivostok or Murmansk. NATO controls both the access to the Med and Ice free access to the Atlantic.
He started this version of the game. Should we allow him to bully by threatening nuclear weapons everytime he has a wild hair up his arse.
Oh we better do as he wishes, he's got nukes donchaknow!
What's next? Give him Ukraine and then he thinks that it worked so well that he starts nibbling at a NATO member? Because that is the logical progression of Putin Luv thinking.

I love Trump and voted for him twice but all he had to do was stop funding this war. He had his chance and blew.it.
