Clinton, Hillary Clinton and their cohorts should be very worried if President Trump pulls the trigger on the current replacement he is floating among White House insiders to replace embattled Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
A known foe of the Clinton’s, former FBI Director Louis Freeh is being considered to replace Jeff Sessions as U.S. Attorney General, according to White House insiders.

Now this, would cause a galactic level melt.

A former FBI director to boot. The reason for this appointment would be quite obvious. Do it.

Reason not to do it. Don't want somebody who has a soft spot for his criminal buddies at the FBI.

I still don't understand why folks think the Clinton's are going to be locked up.

It'll never happen

This person does not sound like someone with a soft spot for the corrupt hacks at the top of the FBI. It sounds like someone who will have the support of the rank and file FBI agents and will work to clean the agency up and restore its reputation.

Hmmm...

quote:

The public advocacy law firm Judicial Watch, which prosecutes government abuse and corruption, rejoiced at the news of Freeh’s May 2001 resignation.[3] Judicial Watch pointed to a “legacy of corruption” at the FBI under Freeh, listing the espionage scandal at Los Alamos National Laboratories, as well as “Filegate, Waco, the Ruby Ridge cover-up, the Olympic bombing frame-up of Richard Jewell, [and] falsification of evidence concerning the Oklahoma City bombing.”[4]

Hey Juice, how do you explain the exponential number of sealed indictments that are on the PACER system?

If Freeh adheres to this philosophical statement, he might be in a state of conflict as it applies to Trump.

quote:

In detailing Clinton’s depravations and hubris, Freeh’s account strikes another, eerily reminiscent Comey chord. Comey pillories Trump for his excesses, for lacking probity and moral rectitude. Freeh matches Comey note-for-note in his assessment of Clinton,
quote:

“The problem, of course, was that with Bill Clinton, the scandals and rumored scandals, the incubating ones and the dying ones, never ended. Whatever moral compass the president was consulting, it was leading him in the wrong direction, and he lacked the discipline to pull back once he found himself stepping into trouble. Worse, he had been behaving that way so long that the closets were full of skeletons just waiting to burst out
.”

Sounds like someone who would find the Trump administration quite congenial.

Why are people cheerleading this? Wasn't the FBI in the 90s a shitshow?
