The economy is doing just fine.

The world you folks see is 180 degrees from the rest of the world.
While MAGA folks brag on these issues, the rest of the country sees failure.
Midterms are going to be disgusting. Trump hasn't lost his core base, but he's lost most independents, which is where the losses will start.

Current approval: ~34%
Disapproval: ~64%
Net approval: -19 to -17 across major polls
Lowest point of second term
Erosion across age, ethnic, and party lines, particularly among younger and Hispanic voters
Key issues driving disapproval: cost of living, inflation, immigration, and military decisions

Know how to invest. I did well during COVID as well. That is why I have a financial advisor for these things

(Reply was before your edit.)
Same exact crap that was said leading up to November 2024. Even said the same way, same tone, same attitude. I exaggerate not.

His base alone keeps him at 42%. It will never go lower than that.

This is why y'all are falling in popularity, you just dont get it.
I'm retired, I dont need anything, but I have kids and grandkids, and the floor keeps getting lifted.
"Know how to invest" is as tone deaf as "learn to code" because most of the population is unhappy and feel line they are losing ground.

Show me this math.
His base is probably around 25%.

Well you could just settle it and show your own math. That’s an idea.

Always the 4d chess, meanwhile the war continues, the economy gets worse and mid-terms are almost here.
And it’s all been so effective that the Iranians walked away from the negotiating table and are charging million dollar tolls to allow ships through the strait.
Straight 4D chess.

This is what losing feels like.
You should be used to it by now.

Voter turnout was 63% of registered voters.
Trump took 50% of these which includes a sizable portion of non-committed/independent.
Less than 2/3rds of Republicans are "MAGA"
quote:
MAGA is a bit of a moving target, but a recent Economist/YouGov poll found that only 24% of all voters described themselves as “MAGA supporters” and a perhaps surprisingly low 54% of Trump voters so identified. In other words, a minority of the voting public and only a little over half of the GOP is Trump’s loyal base.

Cool. Genuine effort, seriously. I hope someone gleans some benefit from it. Full disclosure, it ain’t gonna be me.

Great job, grandpa.

Probably identifies as a Native American. That’ll bump you up the list.
