It’s not that. It’s that he has hammered those few Rs who didn’t vote to spend more. In 2017 & 2018, DeSantis, as a founding member of the freedom caucus, voted against these stupid spending bills. Trump excoriated the freedom caucus at the time.

He did the same thing with Massie when Massie came out against COVID spending.

The misguided anger of Trump borders is strange

See that’s the thing…. You are only concerned about the debt in the Trump years. GWB had majorities when he was President and did nothing about the debt, remember his “compassionate conservative” bs? The Republican Party is not interested in reducing the debt or spending when they are in charge, only when in the minority.

Not sure how you infer all of that. I would have said the same damn thing if I belonged to this board in 2000. Trump was elected to be a disrupter. Instead it was a lot more of the same, but with a little criminal justice reform sprinkled in.

I’m capable of calling balls and strikes for any politician. Can you?

Well then don’t equivocate Trump’s excessive spending with other Rs. Call it what it is, and, in some way, hold Trump accountable. Don’t simply suggest other conservatives are voting for Biden, or have TDS.

In the same subject, if Ron DeSantis does something stupid, call it out. There is nothjng wrong with that.

But most on this board live in this binary, zero-sum world and are incapable of critical thinking.

Two things.

I take it by your response that you would not vote for them if they were the nominee because they don’t reflect your wishes in a candidate yet you expect all others to fall in line or else they are libtards!1!1!1!

Second. It’s interesting that two people who have never registered as a Democrat are the ones who you target to flip yet Donald was a registered Democrat as recently as 2009 and ivanka and Eric couldn’t even vote in a closed primary.

DeSantis was warned and offered ways out to save face many times. Now he'll feast on cockmeat sandwiches until Trump decides he's had enough.

And Trump superfans wonder why they're viewed as retarded.

And it's not because of what Trump says about DeSantis that's eaten up by the tards. It's the retarded dichotomy of "making DeSantis eat cockmeat sandwiches" but getting absolutely worked over and over by figs on the Left. Trump is soft AF, and that's the problem. Not his sophomoric way of going after Republican rivals.

Same goes for his superfans. You guys are the softest faction in American politics today. The shite you find acceptable is stunning, unless of course you are to the Left of Hillary on the political spectrum.

Again, Trump is not breaking out a credit card and doing it himself. You are apparently not capable of understanding my point. It’s not just Trump who has the spending problem, it’s the entire Republican Party who has a spending problem when it’s in control. How can I hold 1 person responsible for spreading when an entire party has lied to its constituents about debt for decades?

quote:

Don’t simply suggest other conservatives are voting for Biden, or have TDS.

Well, there are “conservatives” on this board who are saying they won’t vote for Trump no matter what. That’s their words. They fail to understand we have a binary choice between Biden or Trump and in a close election, a no vote is a vote for Biden.

In the same subject, if Ron DeSantis does something stupid, call it out. There is nothjng wrong with that.

Agreed. Desantis was my primary choice and have done so

Correct. You should try it too and not blame only Trump for all of the spending during his term.

Was the spending a result of the worldwide pandemic?

Yes or no?

No.

It was because big-government Leftists used a virus less lethal than the flu for the vast majority of those not way old/frail or already unwell as an excuse to fund a shite ton of Democrat causes. And big-government Trump took the knee for them.

Was it a plandemic or pandemic?

Everyone talks about how obvious the ridiculousness of it was

Why didn’t Trump recognize it?

It goes beyond this.

Trump was responsible for the CDC, and the CDC lied and faked science throughout. It was his people running NHS/CDC.

As you knight for two RINOs that hate America, yes…all three of you will be Dems by 2028. You fit the profile…willfully ignorant and / or stupid.

I love it when you trot out bullshite with zero context.

Trump firing Fauci (recognized GLOBALLY as the THE EXPERT in the field at the time) would have triggered an avalanche of unrest.

Of course, I’m sure that would have made you happy.

Need I remind you that instead of consolidating power in the moment, he allowed the states to determine their respective course of action.

In short, he gave power to the people.

The horror.

Your take is incredibly disingenuous, because you knew all of this prior to posting, and yet, you still wrote it.

I guess thats what happened in the summer when the cities burned and election season when the shenanigans happened.

2020 was an unmitigated disaster for DJT,
