At this point, the “muh illegal” falls flat.
The Trump administration has thumbed its nose up at “the law” because they can get away with it. No one gives a shite about the law anymore and it’s time to stop pretending you do.

That’s not fake news. That’s a straight up F You to his entire base.
He really messed up badly and doesn’t seem to have any idea how that type of message is going to be received when the economy is still garbage, the white collar job market is garbage and the GOP Congress has done exactly zero again with full control of the government.
It doesn't help that some element of MAGA will give him a pass on this.
Trump may become increasingly immune to the sentiments of his supporters at this point. But they need to make him feel this one. And, while I think JD has much more ideological kinship with us on this, it's not good precedent for future MAGA-ish leaders to look the other way.

Well, that settles it then... No one can argue with Dominic Michael Tripi.
They got him. Going to throw my MAGA hat in the trash tonight... It's over, boys.

Trump is and always been, a phony and an opportunist. He will make public statements that are obviously untrue but are accepted by his followers. When it ultimately is demonstrated
that he is full of shite, those same followers will shrug it off. All they care about is owning the libs, reality be damned…
Trumps base calls him out a TON.
Its happening in this thread from over a dozen longtime supporters. Its happened several times in this first 10 months, in fact. Theres a literal revolt going on now - read the replies on Don Jr's X feed for example.
He often hears our anger and course corrects. I actually predict it will happen here.
You would never acknowledge that we frequently get pissed at him - that doesn't fit your smug narrative.

Oh sure sure... Just vote for the Leftist commie mulims instead. That will work out great!

All of us take price into consideration, why is it bad when a business does it?
I'm not saying that it is wrong for a business to manage their labor costs.
What I am saying is that it is intellectually dishonest to put out this propaganda that American workers are not talented in the tech and engineering fields, when there are entire news articles that show that this model is not working, and that it is ultimately costing businesses more money in the long run to try to H1B their way to profitability.

He will double down I'm sure but that was a big miss
Contrary to all the TDS nerds that are obsessed with their hatred of the man from the time they wake up, until they go to sleep every night, my support for Trump does not mean I agree with him on everything or support everything he does.
I disagree with Trump on this issue, for sure. But still, given any other alternatives on the Democrat or Republican side (aside from Vance, Rubio or DeSantis) I would still vote for him again without question and I sure as frick would vote Republican over ANY Democrat.

The US’ is behind virtually every country in Eastern Asia and Western Europe in math achievement scores. What further proof do you need? You have a problem with reality. Why do you think a lot NP’s are seeing more patients now? We are falling behind in the medical field as well
Even assuming your premise is true (Indian schools are superior to American schools) the issue is that indian schools teach to the test. Their education js geared around passing tests, not being productive knowledge mavens in their field. Also cheating on these tests is very rampant
Its why most of them end up being horrible workers. Because all of their supposedly superior indian education was all about passing a test. In the real world where problem solving is how you are productive they are horrible since they have been programmed to only be able to think on rails. When things go off the rails... they are useless

We just have a lot more of an underclass.
Our top talent is as good/better than anyone else.
MAGA's policies want to coddle that underclass and devolve the rest of America's economy and SOL to protect them.

This is actually applicable with multiple countries in Asia who are still educating kids in a Confucian-style setting based around rote memorization. The way we teach kids involves developing a much stronger abstract reasoning component and problem solving, which is why our university system is unmatched. That rote memorization stuff becomes less important when thinking becomes important and we fly past everybody then.
