Federalism is the issue and has always been the issue. This fight needs to be conducted at the state level state by state.

Didn't you hear he had it stolen. Lol. Trump is a loser and never takes blame for his loses.

Keep truthing Trump!

You never give him credit for his wins. Now you pull out your bank balance (I'll even let you turn the "minus" into a "plus"), Trump can pull out his; Trump can bring out Melania, you can bring out your cousin-wife that looks like Cousin It, and you can feel better about yourself because our country is collapsing and dipshits like you think as long as it falls to the Right then it's all worthwhile.

If he hadn't recently weighed in on the abortion issue, as if he will try to do something at the federal level, his comments about abortion would be spot on - just look at Lindsey Graham's insane proposal (done to intentionally sabotage the GOP, of course). However, he did make those recent comments, so this is just more self-sabotage.

He won in 2016 because he was just Trump being Trump - now he's trying to tap into something, read to the tea leaves, or whatever, and it's not working. He used to be a logical pragmatist. That seems to have disappeared.

For the record - when I'm President, I will veto anything from Congress pertaining to abortion. I don't care what it is. SCOTUS returned this issue to the states, finally, and that's where it's going to stay.

We can look for an optimal solution on this issue from 50 states working parallel but independently, or from one federal government that is so inept it has single digit approval ratings. The answer is clear - let the states handle it.

Murder is murder. Making exceptions loses the entire premise. Of Republicans want to abandon Christians and Conservatives, fine. Don't count on us to carry the party anymore, we don't give that much of a shite about choosing between high tax degeneracy and low tax degeneracy.

Trump has this weird, hard-core cadre of supporters that had never actually voted before Trump, and will never actually vote for anyone else. Not sure they're any better for the country than the average Democrat voter is.

I agree wholeheartedly with you.

This kind of stuff pisses me off - I've often stated I'd crawl on my belly over broken glass to. vote for him - and if he is the only one standing against whatever vile creature the DEMs put up, I'd gladly do it again.

BUT - as much as he has been unjustly vilified, he only makes those attacks harder for us supporters to defend when he pumps out crap like this.

Hard words are fine - no problem there - but keep that kind of shite behind closed doors and reach some kind of acceptable agreement before you go out and show your hand.

Not allowing carve outs for rape or incest was idiotic, and most outside of the fringe religious right find it insane.

I agree - BUT - the ruling said nothing about that - and the GOP just let the DEMs unload their pack of lies 24/7 for months on end.

I knew then that these mid-terms were gonna be bloody.

We don't all agree on every subject. I've always known OMB wasn't an extreme rightest.

He has bis beliefs, I have mine. He is, overall, closer to me than any other.

I'm still firmly on the Trump train.

I'm going to ask a question I saw asked earlier, and that I think needs to be asked more often here: what is the specific insult here? Are you implying I'm gay, a woman, bad at statistics, or something else?

If the abortion purists are going to pussy out because they only got a 99% and not a 100%, then you're being narcissistic. The Dems pushed too far and that's why they lost RvW. You want to push too hard and would risk the lives of 99 babies to save 1 more and (more importantly) get good feelz about yourselves? Learn from the Dems' mistake - they're stupid, but they're usually the ones not making mistakes, and one reason is that they play the long game. You'd be wise to let the dust settle and change the temperature of the nation before going back for seconds.

He's trying to make brownie points with SFP but it's not gonna happen. SFP is onto his game.

He is pimp slapping political prostitutes.

He is doing this publicly for a reason.

It is unfortunate that the GOPe has basically sold out, but they have. They are nothing more than the concubines of the communazis

This is bullshite. The number of women gained by allowing abortion in these 3 cases will absolutely crush the no exceptions crowd.

My employer hosted RvW sessions after the repeal. Women are scared they won't be able to choose between themselves and the baby. If they have that peace of mind, then they will be open to voting against Dems.

Lindsey Graham as others have said absolutely sabotaged the midterms with his 0 exceptions remarks.

The only way conservatives take back the majority is by being the party of freedom and medical autonomy. Your point is valid, but it's not as though all women will get abortions in these cases, they just don't want to be forced one way.

Some are saying this is a shot at Graham - it might be, but why wasn't that shot fired when Graham came out with his nonsense?

Trump didn't come out against the Graham proposal when it was made public, so, I'm leaning more toward it not being a shot at Graham, and just Trump trying to carve out a position on abortion, which is dumb now that Roe is overturned.

If anyone knows differently on whether or not Trump said something prior to the midterms, please let me know so I can be corrected.

I did find this article from The Hill from 2017 - Graham proposed an abortion ban, ostensibly had Trump's support - but the bill had exceptions in it, like what Trump mentioned.

So, it's not like Trump appears to have changed his stance on this issue - so when Graham put forth his GOP-sabotage plan just prior to the midterms, Trump should have been all over it. However, I can't find a story where he said anything prior to the midterms.

Issue belongs with the states and if you're going to fire shots at Graham, that should have been done a month before the election.

WI would have a GOP governor if the moron had not been on record as being against it in ALL cases. They played that clip repeatedly in commercials.
