Former President Donald Trump has endorsed Michael Whatley for Republican National Committee chair and his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, for co-chair.

Trump announced his endorsement in a statement Monday night, citing Whatley's commitment to "election integrity." Whatley was an ardent supporter of Trump's baseless claims of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

Trump also endorsed one of his senior advisers, Chris LaCivita, for chief operating officer.

"This group of three is highly talented, battle-tested, and smart. They have my complete and total endorsement to lead the Republican National Committee," Trump said in a statement to ABC News.

I don't like political dynasties. He's setting up his own right now and that is as swampy as it gets. There are plenty of people he could endorse that aren't related.

No. No. No.

It’s trump’s idea so it’s awesome.

Isn't Whatley a major ally of Trump's girl Rona?

I was hoping for Kimberly Guilfoyle who is a super effective speaker and motivator. Perhaps Don Jr and Kimberly will reprise the Jared and Ivanka role as top 2 advisors? I have a good feeling this reality show is going to bring back the genre.

Nothing says drain the swamp like hiring family for positions they aren't qualified for.

I like this move. You can ONLY really trust family, so it makes sense for a Trump to be in every crucial role.
