Well according to the MAGA folks on this board, there are plenty of jobs to create using tariffs that will employ millions of incompetent people.

It isnt going to work, but thats their belief.

They’ll meet the same consequences… increased unemployment, poverty, homelessness, crime, welfare costs and eventually failing businesses.

Not one time.

Democrats support union jobs at the expense of progress, like yall do.

How in the hell do you reconcile this with Elons efficiency battle?

Not sure how this squares with cutting the federal government, if he can’t muster the strength to cut an old, corrupt labor union

Describing port worker unions as “just a bit of organized labor” is a hoot.

I didn't get Trump bucks or stimulus checks. I make above the threshold.

But it's nice seeing the Cult support big government stifling businesses. And supporting unions.

Strange days.

Yep.

Between this and tariffs I wonder if Trump will try to bring typewriters, paper mail, land line telephones, mules for farming, printed newspapers, and horse drawn buggies back. Would create lots of “jobs”. We can bring back the buggy whip industry! We’ll be rich!

We import too much now so why would we want to speed up ability to import more foreign goods? We need less imports and more made in USA.

read an article recently that mentioned that America's ports are well behind and extremely cumbersome to navigate compared to other world ports due to the lack of automation.

at some point Daggett is gonna have to give in

That is exactly what I thought when I read it. His opinion is not an EO. Certainly a President is entitled to an opinion. I would love to see the Jones Act repealed and our river systems open up to deliver products further, to ports inside the entire country.

If you arent short sighted, you would push for automation of port facilities.
