For me, it’s an automatic disqualifier.

For me, any person that plays along with someone's gender dysphoria is crazier than the person with gender dysphoria.

At least the person who is "trans" has a disease as an excuse. If you believe a man can be a woman, what's your excuse?

So you really don't understand voter enthusiasm and turnout.

I'm beginning to think you're a professor rather than an MD. You seem to have a need to needlessly teach shite.

You continue to avoid that actual matter that isn't understood in this thread. I do not understand why you think so much of MAGA is dim/unpatriotic enough to forfeit the presidency. I'm not asking about the mechanism by which their dimness/unpatriotism manifests itself, I get it - they won't vote. I'm asking why you think so much of MAGA is that dim/unpatriotic. I mean, you agree that would be pretty stupid, right? - to hand the Dems the presidency.

The idea that Trump supports transgender people is ridiculous.

He seemed to hedge a bit in his answer though. I wouldn't be surprised if he's trying to downplay the trans issue to appeal to...some voter demographic. I don't know who it is, but maybe that's what he's doing?

I think he said no on the kids transitioning part at some point in the same interview, which is what we really care about. Men can do what they want...on their own dime, and trannies have been around in the shadows doing their thing forever. Its the "new shiny thing" attention seeking people that are ruining it for them and bringing this all onto the ones that decided to go that route on their own without it being "hip."

It's the new " Have you quit beating your wife yet?" Question.

If you say a man can be a woman and a woman can be a man then you are crazy and if you say a man can't be a woman and a woman can't be a man then you are transphobic.

Trump let the man compete.
Trump made trans competing in pageants a hot button question.
Trump praised the answer of the contestant who said men should be allowed to compete.
The contestant who said men should be allowed to compete won Miss USA and Miss Universe.
Trump helped advanced transgenderism into mainstream cultural normalcy.

No. You don't get it. You really don't. Voter turnout varies IAW enthusiasm and GOTV efforts at roughly between 56% and 66%. In an evenly divided electorate, if 62% show up for your guy, and 60% show up for mine, your guy will win. It has little to do with negative sentiment about my guy. It's simply a matter as to whether folks want to stand in line an hour or so to vote for him.

Well, I will never watch Miss USA again. You convinced me. Again. It’s the economy, stupid. You caricatures are arguing against something imaginary. Trump isn’t going to advocate for kids to be harmed. You’re doing the equivalent of “throw grandma from the cliff”. It’s a classic dem tactic. And you’re very good at it, because….well…

I'll try asking the question another way.

Do you really think that much of MAGA is dim/unpatriotic enough that they'd let Trump not being the nominee cause them to lose their enthusiasm for not letting f'n Democrats burn the country down? I even used "enthusiasm" in the question, so maybe we can get past the voter turnout mental block.

You can't seriously think you're teaching something here. It's coming across like you're deflecting because you don't want to answer my question.

You probably shouldn't have used this example.

Seriously, why won't you answer the question? Bonds and I agree that you're smart. There is zero doubt you know exactly what I'm asking.

We've had four straight elections where that was the case. FOUR! We were just damn lucky Trump figured out where to concentrate energy in 2016, to work the EC.

The only way Trump isn't the nominee is if Dem lawfare somehow keeps him off the ticket. If that happened, do you think Trump would endorse DeSantis? If so, do you think his endorsement would motivate his base?

I really do believe "MAGA" would turn out for DeSantis. I can't imagine more than a (relative) few sitting out if they know it means 4 more years of Biden (or Newsom). Just like I believe Ronbots will turn out for Trump.

Maybe you're not hearing me. I believe "MAGA" would turn out for DeSantis too. But if his campaign is milquetoast, the percent turnout won't get it done. If Ron finds a way to switch things up on the campaign trail he could do fine. But he needs to figure it out.

You make it sound like the active decision is to sit out. It isn't. 40% just don't expend the effort in most elections. The active decision is to get their arse out of the house and vote.

If Trump would have said "Have you ever met Michelle Obama". I would have decided all his warts were worth it. But he cucked out instead.
