I know the labor participation rate has decreased.

Many of the jobs he claims are part time.

Toyota Motor said will build a new plant in Baja, Mexico, to build Corolla cars for U.S.

Toyota will build a new plant in the state of Guanajuato in central Mexico to build Corollas for the North American market. But I guess he's within the typical Trump margin of error...

Unemployment went down because people got sick of looking for jobs or decided it was more lucrative to live off of the government.

We should raise taxes on the middle class instead. At least the middle class would have cheaper Toyota's to purchase.

Seriously, the fact that Trump is willing to put all the cards on the table including import taxes is something new in U.S. trade policy. There's going to be an adjustment period. We are not used to negotiating with import taxes on the table.

Direct and Indirect Toyota workers are over 350,000 in the US, they've made direct investments of over $21B in the US.

I've owned or leased several Toyotas over the years. The only thing that matters to me as a consumer is cost. Cost is also the driving factor for corporations. So where the car is built doesn't matter. How will Trump's proposed policy give me an equal or better deal?

Regardless, I do know the national debt doubled, food stamps increased 32%, my health care premiums increased 250%, and race relations are far worse than they've been in my 30 years. In short, the guy is a complete and utter failure, no matter how you slice it.

That not Trump's job. That's Toyota's and their competitors job less they go out of business because you won't buy their product.

Exactly. Is it worth creating or saving 2,000 jobs if the costs of a Corolla jump 20%?
