And yes - I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of leadership we got in the bargain - I was totally opposed to Trump during the 2015 campaign and voted for him only because I hated Hillary Clinton more.
BUT - I have been pleasantly surprised - and proud - of the quality of his leadership although I do not like his personality.
I will gladly accept that in the bargain we got in the quality of his leadership and the momentous changes for the good of the country he has accomplished.
It is my opinion that he has to rank within the top 5 POTUS's of our history.
And he replaced possibly the two worst POTUS's ever to hold the title. First Obama, an arrogant fake American who did the bidding of foreign interests and then a stupid, know-nothing, stooge Biden who gave cover for the Democrat ideal of destroying the great nation we inherited.
I will accept a few character flaws for the luxury of saving our free nation and enhancing it status in the world order.

I agree with a lot of what you wrote. Unfortunately it looks like you are stuck in the same place as me - being asked by the R Party to vote against Democrats rather than for what the R Party will do.
I know factually that when Republicans are given power by the voters, they will refuse to do the one thing that is most important issue for our remaining a sovereign country. They’ve proven that to me, time and time again.

Especially THIS decade of democrats - they have only ONE stance and that is to just oppose Trump - they do not have a single strategy that doesn't map back to that one objective = oppose Trump.
I think republicans are far from perfect - BUT they are light years ahead of the Democrats who are now nothing more than an unruly mob led by amoral wanna-be dictators.

That's not what you are doing. You repeatedly attack him for not getting 2 foreign countries to stop fighting in 24 hours.
You know it was a ridiculous statement, but you keep bringing it up, along with every other Trump-hater. That's not criticism. It's just bringing up old shite irrelevant to the current situation.
Solving the war in 24 hours was a long shot and mostly campaign rhetoric, but you keep arguing as if it was an easily achievable goal instead of recognizing the reality.
If you were sincere in your criticism, you would have dropped such a ridiculous argument a year ago. Your inability to let something so ridiculous go is proof that this goes beyond criticism for you.
If you weren't so biased, you would be able to understand what I mean. All of you running around saying, "I thought he was going to solve it in 24 hours," for almost 2 years are acting like children.
So he didn't solve it in 24 hours. Big deal. This is real life. Miracles rarely happen. Your "criticism" of Trump is basically that he isn't all-powerful.
Your need to criticize Trump for Ukraine reveals your true motive when you blame him for not stopping it more than you blame those who started it.

In the exact same place as Republicans: perfectly willing to spend two trillion dollars more than revenue, each and every year. They are the same.
